As usual, not much goes on during the weekend. Kathy and I were able to attend services at Pleasant Valley Church of Christ, I flew home after lunch today. I plan on working during the week, and will try to get back up either late Thursday night or Friday morning. Kathy is staying with Brent, as she has since the accident on December 8th.

Brent had one session with physical therapy today, talked to him for a few minutes on the phone. He indicated that it went well. Brent is starting to get some good movement in his left arm, and it doesn't seem as sore as before. Most of the therapy is on his left arm and shoulder, trying to get a better range of motion in the arm. It will still be 5 to 6 more weeks before he will be able to place weight on the shoulder. We are extremely happy with his progress, and with Baptist Rehabilitation.

Thank you so much for all your continuous prayers offered in Brent's behalf. We firmly believe God is answering those fervent prayers, and great things are in store for Brent!

Brent is able to read the blog and keeps up with the posts, thank you so much for all your encouragement! Your faithfulness is amazing, and really helps us keep a positive attitude!

Pete, Kathy & Brent

Pete & Kathy, so glad you were able to attend worship at PV again. Thank you so much for keeping us updated through the blog, it's good to hear of Brent's progress--God is faithful. He's good all the time. I pray for Brent constantly, and it's so much easier when I'm able to read the blog and know specifically what to pray for. And God always answers! May the God of all comfort continue to strengthen you all. Much love!--Lacey

I saw Brent tonight briefly but he was sleeping peacefully so I didn't wake up. His nurse Kathy said she would let him know I came by. He looked so much more calm than when I saw him Friday. I am so thankful the rehab is going well. I pray for continued progress and for Brent and you all to have strength during this time.

With Christian Love,

Kimberly

I don't write often, but I want you to all know that we check the blog often and continue to pray for you and your family. I am so thankful you are continuing to impove and know the Lord is faithful. You can not imagine what an impact you all have had on people across the USA and even other countries. Your situation has brought up many conversations with my friends and acquaintances and I have had the opportunity to share God's love and power with them as well as your strength and faithfulness.
I know times are going to be tough, but know that you have people everywhere lifting you up and loving you even though you may never know about it.
By His Grace,

Brent, Heb 12:2 Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the JOY set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Consider Him who endured such opposition from sinful men, so that YOU will not grow weary and lose heart. Have a great day! Thinking of you, Parks and Jan Messick

We are so glad to hear Brent's progress is going well with rehab. We pray for Brent constantly. When Ronnie went through rehab it was very painful for him as well but just know that all that hard work will be worth it. God is with you all the time and will see you through. Bless you all.

Glad to hear that you are on the
road to recovery. Could I have a
phone number? I need to visit with
you and set a time when I can come
and see you and cut your hair. If
you haven't had a trim, I'm sure
it's a scary sight.

We continue to pray for your progress and recovery.
